blarney
[blahr-nee]
noun : flattering or wheedling talk; cajolery. verb : to flatter or wheedle; use blarney
...and so it `tis with the Blarney Band; smooth, flattering song, often nonsensical. Predominately a father and son duet, Keith and Daniel Shannon make up the sound of Blarney. Blending strong harmonious voices with a variety of instruments, in order to successfully present an array of Irish, Scottish, and Celtic music.
Keith resides primarily in Illinois as Blarney Man, in addition to Truckee, California. Daniel resides in Washington State, as Blarney Dan. When the two join forces, Blarney Band is in full affect with a constantly expanding repertoire inclusive of traditional and contemporary songs and ballads.
The music is inviting and you'll find yourself singing and clapping along in short order. Their passion and their love for the music is contagious. If you are Irish, you will find yourself home again... if you are not? ... You soon will be.
Blarney performs at Pubs, Parties, Faire, and Weddings all over Northern California, Northern Nevada, Southern Illinois, St. Louis Missouri, and Washington State.
