Bob is going on an Irish Festival Music Cruise in a warm climate during middle of February, so you have only four chances to hear Blarney live this month-way better odds than buying a lottery ticket. We are at Madigans Pub on the 3rd and 25th at 7pm. Also, we are at OB’s pub on Feb 24. We will be playing on Saturday, February 4 from 9 to 10 pm at Waldens Coffee House in Reno, Nevada as a showcase performance which will be recorded live. It is open to the public and we hope you can join us for a fun evening. We hope to be able to use these tracks to put together a Blarney Live CD finally. Please join us if you can.

Blarney

Blarney was privileged to be part of the celebration on Saturday December 17 to honor Lt. M. Holbrook as he was commissioned as an officer in the US Army. The party was in Sacramento thrown by family and friends and was quite an event. America is lucky to have Lt. Holbrook in her service.

May God bless Lt. Holbrook and may the luck of the Irish be with him always as he embarks upon his Army career.

Blarney

Please try to join us this November, you have four chances for fun with Blarney. We will be at Madigans near Donner Lake on Friday, Nov. 4 at 7pm–a warm, cozy, friendly, environment and Mike will be happy to draw a pint of guinness!!!!!! Friday Nov. 18 at 8pm you will find us at Jakes on the Lake in Tahoe City until 11 pm warming up the place for St. Patrick’s Day which is only 4 months away! Then when you are done celebrating the Thanksgiving Holiday with the family, bring them all out to OB’s Pub and Restaurant, a great Irish Pub, downtown historic Truckee on Friday Nov. 25 at 7pm. If you still have some energy or need some, come to Cottonwood Restaurant on the hill overlooking downtown Truckee, another warm and friendly historic place, on Saturday, Nov. 26 at 7pm. Remember, singing and laughing are good for you and for working off too much turkey and dressing.

We have had a good year playing and singing the Irish and Scottish music we love, and what makes it really fun for us is seeing our audiences having fun and singing along with us.
